Argonne National Laboratory is a United States Department of Energy facility. As such, you must obtain a pass (in the form of an APS User Badge or Visitor's Pass) before access to the facility will be granted.

Registering for an APS User Badge will allow you to be a part of the Data Collection Workshop. In the case where your institution does not have a User Agreement with the APS, you may register as a Visitor instead. Although you will be able to visit the synchrotron, visitors are not able to perform hands-on work.


Accommodation Information
The preferred accommodations are located on Argonne National Laboratory property within a short walk of the Advanced Photon Source. A block of rooms have been reserved under the name FiberNet/BioCAT Fiber Diffraction Workshop and these rooms will be held until September 30.
